The Boys of Micky Finn are
Scott and David Finney,
They have been in the business since 1989 , Twin Brothers born on May 6th 1973. Since the age of 15 they have been in a Duo, back then they were called " Two In May ".
They worked their first Summer Season
In 1993 in Kiln Park Holiday Centre, Tenby, S. Wales. Then from 1994 - 1996 incl. they worked in The Old Tavern, San Antonio Bay, Ibiza, Spain. In the winters of these years they spent a lot of time touring the
UK performing in clubs and campsites. Quite a lot of time was spent doing the club scene in The North East, supporting bands such as "The Ivy League" and "The Fortunes".
They spent the Xmas and New Year of 1994 as the resident Duo In Butlins, Minehead.
For the years of 1997 - 1999 they spent a lot of time in London Recording with MCA and writing a lot of their own material. They had two very brief TV appearances, One on BBC2 daytime programme Working Lunch and the other on an ITV news show.
Following this they returned to Ibiza and Rented their own Bar Called “The Jolly Roger Cavern” , where they were the resident Duo during the summer months. The following year they also got an Indian restaurant, which proved to be a great success with the
holiday makers.
In the winter they made their way to Benidorm where they performed an Everly Brothers Tribute show.
In November of 2004 they returned to the UK to do their last Gigs as a duo. Following this Scott moved to Sunderland to starta show as a Solo Artiste. David returned to Ibiza to carry on with the
Indian restaurant. The following year (2005) David returned to the UK and moved to Sunderland to re-unite the Duo. This time calling themselves "The Boys of Micky Finn" after their Dad Mick Finney. The Boys are now
enjoying being back on The Northeast clubland scene performing both assolo acts, in the duo and also an 80s tribute show.
